My bestfriend scared the heck out of me today!!!

I found out today that yesterday my bestfriend was at home cleaning and her husband had set his 22 pistol on the table because he was getting ready to go shoot targets, he never loads the gun when its in the house but for some reason he had it loaded this time, well my friend went to move it from the counter and accidently pulled the trigger and it shot her in the leg it went through one side of her leg and out the other just missing the bone and artery. I found out about it and immediatly went to visit her, it scared me that she could of been seriously hurt, which made me think about how short life really is, and that I need to start living life to the fullest, so I wanna know does anyone else have a story close to mine and how was there reaction to it.Or even anyone who has lost a loved one did it change the way you live your life?
