honestly what is a friend to you?

We all have friends some we hang out with more than others, and some that are pretty much acquaintences. But there are always one or two friends that you consider a true friend. Like some of my friends, I know would drop anything to come help me, they come visit when im sick, they call when they havent heard from me for a while,People that I love like family. So I wanna know what your true definition of a friend is.

T ome a friend is someone who has your best interests at heart and who will be there to help you no matter what. I also believe that you do not have to see a friend all the time to remain close to each other, as long as they genuinely care for you. Friendship is a very speical thing.

My definition of a friend is someone who will stick with you through the good times and the bad... someone who will tell straight to your face that you look ghastly when you do. Would give you feedback not to hurt you but to make you realize that you can do better. A person who has a napkin to offer when you have to cry and will not tell you to stop crying when you're hurt but rather do crazy stuff just to make you laugh your brains out. LOL.

A true friend is the one who understands you better than yourself, the one who gets you through the hard times, the one who love you for the way you are, the one who lifts you up in spirit, the one who says sincerely that he/she is lucky to have you in this world.
