Do you know what a tempeh is?

You know... the food that is made from fermented soybean. And did you know that tempeh was originally from Indonesia? But is then claimed by the US? Yup... my government sucks at protecting national culture, lol. The most common recipe for making tempeh here, in the country of its origin, is to soak it in a mixture made of salt, minced shallots/garlic and crushed coriander seeds for about 1 hour. This the most well-known basic tempeh seasoning here. I'm just wondering how other parts of the world eat their tempeh?

Tempe, not tempeh Tempe is from Indonesia, i love it Tempe is made from kedelai

hahaha, yes chooseus, it is "tempe" and not "tempeh" but the foreigners all call it "tempeh". Don't ask me why. maybe it's easier for them to pronounce that way?

I love tempe when it is fried... eat it with rice, ketchup, and dont forget to add chili sauce... so Indonesian... Tempe bacem, sambal tempe, many ways to cook tempe hahaha
