abuse person

I have been in a relationship in the past that was mentaly and verbalt abusave. When you finally get out of one of these relationships your selfesteem is very low. I would say the best way to help a person that has been abused is to be a good friend to them, tell them that they are a good person, that they look nice,that they deserve the best things in life. always be there for them if they need a sholder to cry on.Encourage them to do things to better themselves.

They, the abused ones, do notask for anything except a shoulder to cry on. We can afford to give them that and be for them . They lose their belief in life from which they get battered. They need moral support. If you can give them that support, they will be able to build up again. Better still if you can show them a way to come out of that. There are many still suffering abuses just for the reason that they cannot come out. They cannot stand on their own because they are dependent. So they just take in the abuses and still live in thesame place. Those people should be helped to get to the shelter or should be given a chance to stand on their own legs. All the best
