I am 7 months pregnant today!! Just knowing that I have another 11 weeks to go is so depressing. I feel like I cannot get any bigger( I know that I will). I get so bored at home and it is just starting to warm up outside. I am currently not working and will not go back to work until my baby is a year old.
I find myself bored all of the time. I have been thinking of things to do to pass the time and have not been able to come up with anything interesting to do. What are some of the the things that you other pregnant my lotters have done to bypass the time?

Barbie, this your first child? Sounds like it.. Sweetie if you can take a bit of advice from an older mother of three boys, I would offer you this. ENJOY the quiet. Rest now. Enjoy being bored, Sugar it is not going to be this way for long. Pretty soon you will be begging for a few hours of sleep and to have absolutely nothing to do.....
I read many books, I just enjoyed my own company. But of course this was not true with my first pregnancy.Like you with the first one I was just so anxious for it to be over. Not so with the next ones :)))

sleep, get lots and lots of sleep because you will be saying goodbye to it soon. lol. Pretty soon you'll be busy around 8 months your mind and body goes into cleaning mode. It will be all that you do. One day you'll just wake up and have the urge to clean. During my pregnancy is when I learned to crochet as i was only allowed on my feet for so long during the day by the doctors orders. It was fun making stuff for the baby and its even more rewarding to see your newborn wearing something you made especially for him/her.

I wish that I would go into the cleaning mode right now. God knows that my house could use a little extra cleaning. As far as for sewing, I can not even stitch a button onto a shirt. Thanks for your response.

I know what you mean! It's soooo hard to wait for the baby's due date and it's especially hard to wait towards the end! At the very end of my pregnancy, when I had about a week to go, I was CONVINCED that I was going to be pregnant forever. And when I was a week late, i was POSTIVE I'd be pregnant forever!

I see this was 3 months ago so I'm sure you have a baby now =) I was never bored. Once I was done being sick, I really enjoyed being pregnant. I did all sorts of stuff, including spending a lot of time online. I used it to research as well as connect with people because i did not have local friends. I also read books and watched tv and movies, walked and swam, etc etc. I also did normal things like clean and cook and run errands. LOL!

LOL! I know. I will soon forget the peace and quite of pregnancy. You hardly think of this with a huge unattractive belly though. I will probably end up wishing that I was pregnant again.(hope not though) HEHE. Thank you for your response.

OK..it's been 3 months since you have posted this so how did your pregnancy go? I just had my first baby in May and I felt the same way. I was working then and on my feet all day long so I was in pain all the time. Now I am a stay at home mommy and I am loving every minute of it!! I love caring and spending time with my beautiful boy.

First off spend some time doing some of your very favorite things. Then sit and enjoy the quiet, those days will be gone soon. I always spent that time getting the room ready, I also got a cleaning bug right around then, and then again like a week before. I also read alot then, just to pass the time. Take walks, enjoy the spring air, work in your garden. I usually worked till a few weeks before they were due, so to me the free time would of been a blessing enjoy it. Hang in there, it really is well worth the waite. Congrats to you as well.
