do eagles attack people?

I have read from the books that eagles are very fierce amimals. i want to know whether eagles will attack people?

Eagles will not attack people. I work as a wild bird rahabilitator and I can tell you that never once have I heard of someone being attacked by an eagle.

In the history of our small village, we have eagles that attack the chicks but have never heard of eagles attacking people. It's the people attacking the eagles for food.
