Cat surgery, what could I do to make her feel better?

My cat will go through surgery in the next couple of days. She's 9-month-old, energetic and healthy, but I'm still worry about her recovery process after the surgery. I've already researched for some pre-operative care instructions, and knows I should watch her very closely after the surgery in case something goes wrong. But they all told me the recovery process could be painful and sometimes even dangerous, so any tips or suggestion I could do to make her feel better?

Just try to keep her calm and spend as much time as you can sitting with her and giving her attention. This also makes it easier to watch her in case any problems come up. Make it convenient for her to access her food and water and litter box, without putting those things too close together or too close to her bed. Keep her bed on the floor so she doesn't have to jump down from the sofa or your bed if she usually sleeps there.
And lastly, when she sleeps, leave her alone. Sleep is her best healing time. Hopefully your cat will come through just fine. They are pretty tough and resilient when it comes to healing,
Best of luck with your kitty.

Thanks for the tips! She likes to keep her bed on the floor, so I'm guessing this wouldn't be such a big problem. But sometimes she could be very energetic, so I'll watch her very closely. Also I've heard it's possible that cats might throwing up after surgery, how do I know if it's serious (like bleeding internally etc.) or just normal reaction? Again, thanks!

You will most likely recognize what she is throwing up. If she is bleeding internally there will be blood in her vomit (could look pinkish) or she will be unable to stop throwing up.
But if it happens at all it is more probably just a reaction to the anesthesia and will subside. Just like a human's reaction.
Don't worry, everything will be ok.
