All time favourite... good question. One I can't think of an answer too anyway. Most of what I can think of is console games, though FF7 did have a PC release. But I'd have to say one of those older DOS based games. Probably something like Pirates! Gold. I remember playing it back in the day and once in a while I fire a copy of it up again.

Hi There,
There are some great computer games out there that is for sure. I tend to like role playing games with action and adventure the most. I would have to say I have a tie for favourite. I like Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction and Medal of Honor Allied Assault. I could play (and do) both of these games forever!
cheers,

Oh, my favorite is the "virtual PACMAN". I still have it stored on my computer haha.. I don't really play games but that is my past time when doing nothing at home or work. Cheers!

An interesting question and one that is not easy to answer. My taste in gaming seems to change almost weekly and my current favourite can chop and change from day to day. But I guess for all time favourites the criteria would have to be along the lines of what gave me the most memorable gameplay experience and (perhaps the best way to identify an all time preference) how often I keep coming back to it. Under games that gave me a memorable experience I would have to file the likes of Knights of the Old Republic (I completely failed to spot the plot twist coming) and Jade Empires (for the quality of the plot but also as I hadn't heard anything about it before i spotted it on the shelves, so it came as quite a surprise to me when I found out how good it was). However, the game that I keep going back to, time and time again, is Master of Orion 2. I can't put my finger on exactly why, perhaps because noone since has made a game of that genre that is quite as good or perhaps it just pushes all the right gaming buttons for me. Galactic Civilisations 2, however, may finally be the one to stop this trend, I guess I will find out the next time I start getting the itch to play a space empire building strategy game.

hi ghreeb_admi,
my all time favorite game.. hmmmm... I quess that would be Red Alert 2 command & conqueer. I love the game because it doesn't need much resources, you just need to mine "ore". and it's easy to build your camp.
Can I have another favorite? (hehehe)

Sadly, I'd have to say that my all-time favorite computer game would have to be Lode Runner. I played that game on an Apple IIe in my high school years and I've actually found a good version online.
My second favorite game would be the original Half Life. At the time, it was truly ground-breaking.
My third favorite would be Battlefield 1942.
