i have not gone out of my way to help physically challenged people but always had a thought in my mind to do something for them when i begin to work and earn well...but i had an opportunity to help them through my college..when i was studying in college, there was credits allotted to community service wherein v gotta do some kind of campaign, helping illiterates learn, helping patients at the hospital etc...when i was n a search of doing something for my community service i had noticed that blind people assemble in a particular school n others who are not physically challenged help them to read and write..now seeing this i did my community service helping physically challenged people by reading to them..and to my surprise these people are so determined and they say their should be no end to studies and the person whom i was reading was doing an M.A degree from a recognised university..i was really touched by the determination, willpower and their desire to study..its so amazing and i liked their commitment..i learnt a lot from physically challenged people through the community service and it gave me a satisfaction as if i have acheived something so precious in life by reading the lessons to these physically challenged people...i don think v people wil go out of d way if things r not made compulsary..but each one of us can do some small help which is possible and can be rendered..

I don't think I would go out of my way just because they are disabled. I think they want to be treated as equals so unless they asked for and needed my help I wouldn't. If they were in need of help I would help as I would with anyone who needed my help.
