Two new finalists for the Stanley Cup this year!!!!

so with Ottawa being dismantled in 4 games and the Ducks being surprised in 6 games by the Stars we will have a new East and a new West Champ and more importantly another new Stanley Cup Winner
Teams that have made it to the next round are NYR,Pittsburgh,Detroit,Colorado,Dallas
In the West 3 teams that have won it in the 90's have made it through and in the East both teams that have made it also won in the 90's
These playoffs have kinda gone back to the past for the teams that were good not long ago back again, who do you think has the best shot of the teams who have made it so far or do you think one of these teams has the best shot if they make it through, San Jose/Calgary,Philly/Washington,Montreal/Boston???

Great post. Question. Is your avatar the Phoenix Coyotes' sweater? I am bias.The Caps, The Red Wings, The Penguins, The Rangers, and the Flames are all my favorite teams. I would love to see one of my western teams meet one of my eastern teams. But which one? The wildest match-up would be The Rangers vs the Red Wings. Brendan Shanahan is now a Ranger. it is still hard for me to see The Red Wings play and not see #14 or #19.I am so glad Shanny was traded to my Rangers.When the playoffs started I wanted a rematch of The Red Wing-Caps match but this time The Caps would win . But now I know I was dreaming.Being a Red Wing fan , I hate both Dallas and The Avs.So If The Red Wings don't advance to the finals, I would like to see either my Flames or The Sharks.The Sharks has two guys I love, J.R. and the coach Ron Wilson. I first saw J.R. at a all star game and I have been a fan ever since.And Ron Wilson was The Caps coach. So if they beat my Flames , it will hurt less.
Of the 6 who are not in, I see Philly,Montreal, and The Sharks advancing.Philly seems to be in the zone and know how to shut down Ovie.Montreal has to advance or they will be wanted men in Montreal. Plus home ice is a plus for a game 7.And I am just going with my head not my heart with the Sharks-Flames. The Sharks seem to have more talent.But if I am wrong about the Flames and The Caps I will be happy.

in the finals from the east i want to see either pittsburgh or washington and from the west i think it will be the wings or sharks
i think bruins,caps and sharks will advance from the remaining matchups

As a big Pens fan I'm cheering for the birds!!!!! I like the old school Detroit team too. For me, Colorado and Dallas are least faves.... Rangers come in a close 2nd on that least faves list. There's an old joke about the Rangers.... what costs millions of dollars and still can't win the Stanley Cup? The NY Rangers!!! It's the truth too! They're the Yankees team of hockey!

well i think it will be a Pens/Wings Final with the Pens winning it
i was really hoping to see the Caps win the the Habs losing and then the caps and pens winning their 2nd round series to face in the East Final, but i guess there is always next year for that

I'm hoping Calgary will win. Go Flames! I was watching the game the other night and nearly every single person in the arena was wearing a Flames jersey. It was like a sea of red. I thought that was totally awesome. I live in Ontario, and all we hear about is Leafs, Leafs, Leafs, even though they suck big-time. My husband watches the games just to jeer and watch them lose. lol. But Calgary's got real fans and a good team. I hope they win.
