So I've decided im incredibly stupid today.
Yesterday/overnight we had a huge snowfall..like up to my knees in my yard snowfall. I was bored silly yesterday so today when i got plowed out i decided YES i should drive the 60km to work. Not A BRIGHT idea...i got stuck. But did i turn around and go home??? No (dumb move) I went to work.
It took me an hour and a half to get there...its normally a 35 min drive. THEN on the radio i heard its going to snow more this afternoon. So...I'm waiting an hour (i met the plow on the road)..taking work home with me and going home.
Sometimes i really wonder where my head is!

wow that is dedicated to your job, I am praying that the snow is done here in minnesota. All of the snow is gone here and have started some spring cleaning outside, the ground has had a couple days to dry up and got my bird feeders out and some raking done
next time you should call work ahead of time and let them know that you are calling in snowed in.

I wish it was done here.
I did call in snowed in...but then figured since my dad took the time to plow out my road for me..maybe i should go to work..not thinking that maybe the other highway i connect to hasnt been plowed yet. I shoulda turned back after the first time i got stuck.

Luckily, I live in Florida so I don't have to worry about the snow. Sometimes we do things and then wonder what the heck we were thinking. I know I've done it before. It happens so don't be hard on yourself.

Oh, you poor thing! I live in Texas so NO ONE drives in bad weather - we get like a millimeter of snow or ice and everything closes! I can't imagine what I would do up north, I've never learned to drive through that kind of weather.

LMAO ours started thursday night lol but it broke yesterday thank GOD LOL it didn't stop even for 5 minutes until yesterday I am blocked in my drive way because of all the snow that drifted behind my car. The wind and snow was so bad that the school buses were cancelled. You couldn't see 2 feet in front of yourself in the car it was awful. I hope it broke there too LOL I have family out there.

I can honestly say i really like my job and lately ive been putting in a LOT of hours. I have over a week of extra time banked right now because ive worked over my regular hours. I intend to use the banked hours in the summer for fun things when work is slow.
