Do you shop at places like Whole Foods or Trader Joe's?

I like to go to places like Whole Foods and Trader Joe's while I am up visiting family in St. Louis. We did not hit Trader Joe's this time, but we did make a trip to Whole Foods. My son likes to run around the store and get all the food samples. I like them because of their wide variety of cheeses. I always seem to come out of these types of places spending way more money than I planned on spending. Do you frequent these types of places?

I don't have a Whole Foods near me, but I shop at a similar place that someone else also mentioned called Henry's. The produce and bulk section is very affordable! i also shop at Trader Joe's almost weekly. They have such a great selection and if you are careful with the amoutn of items you get their prices are very good.

I bought some pecans at Trader Joe's last week and they were actually cheaper than any other place I have bought them recently. Some stuff is more, but if you get the right stuff you can really save.

yes you have to keep an eye on the prices because some are more because the items are rare, but the more common things are a great price!

I've never been to a Trader Joe's, actually I have never heard of it. Whole foods is awesome though, I wish there was one near us I would probably shop there very often. The closest ones I know of are about an hour and a half or so away from us unfortunately. I would def do my shopping there.

The closest one of both I mentioned is about 2 hours away from where I live. I only get to go when I visit family.

Yes, I not only shop at those, but I shop at Henry's and Windmill Farms which have a similar concept. In fact, Windmill Farms used to be owned by Henry's until Wild Oats (which owns Whole Foods) bought them out. I think Henry's might have been started before Whole Foods, too. I like the bulk foods section the most. But, at Windmill Farms, they have the best produce in quality and price. All these stores have a good organic selection and a good selection of specialty food. As a lot of people know, I need to have a lot of low sodium foods and these stores are all great at supplying my needs.

I love the bulk foods section at Whole Foods! There is a Wild Oats not to far from the other ones, but I don't normally go there. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are so close to each other I find it hard to go to one without hitting the other.

We don't have a Whole Food's or a Trader Joe's around here. However I think if we had either of those places it would really be beneficial. Definitely would be a lot better than shopping at the big chain stores.

We don't have any of those here unfortunately. I wish we did though. I wouldn' mind shopping there an get the fresher produce and everything instead of the stuff that comes out of the bigger chains. Probably healthier for me too.

I love the great supplys of healthy foods but it seems like they are much more expensive than shopping different stores. I know that there items are better in many cases but my money only goes so far then we starve.

I find some things there that I cannot find anywhere else, so that is my main reason for going. Some stuff it is not worth it to buy there, but for the most part it is not too bad. The stuff I buy anyway.
