What is the best Disney movie for you?

All Disney movies are fun to watch and artistically made but the best Disney movie for me is Mulan because the story is unique. There are lots of twists in the movie like when Mulan pretended to be a man just to prevent his father from joining the war. It tells a lot about the history of China. What is the best Disney movie for you?

i like mulan, too! for some reason, it veered away from the "traditional" disney movies who portrayed refined and beautiful and princess-ish heroines. very empowering for your girls...
interesting tidbit! did you know that women who particularly loved cinderella as children are more likely to be martyrs as they grow older? true...

I am glad that you like Mulan too. I have to agree with you that it stood out from the rest of the traditional disney movies wherein the leading lady is a princess who is very heroic. Disney Movies have black and white plots where the antagonist is purely good and beautiful the antagonist is purely evil and ugly. Mulan is good but she also disobeyed her parents when she decided to steal her father's armor and pretended to be a man so that she can prevent her father from joining the war. The movie was unpredictable too. The ending was commendable when the emperor gave Mulan his blessing.

Pocahontas is the best disney movie for me because of the great soundtrack, nice plot and romantic love story in the movie.

I love so many Disney movies it is hard to tell. I think the Lion King is a really good movie. The little mermaid is neat. Beauty and the Beast has such a love story I have to appreciate it. Jungle Book is so much fun with the silly characters and songs. I cannot give you a favorite because there are so many I really like. I love lady and the tramp and 101 dalmations too. For whatever reason though I have never sat down to watch Mulan. I need to do that.
