It's a cold, wet day ... any suggestions?

I would love to hear what people do to spend time with the family when it is cold and wet. I'm looking for outings, as we already have a heap of stay home activities. I want to get us all out of the house! Any suggestions and ideas would be appreciated. I don't care how strange - we want to try some new things. Thanks.

i remember making paper boats and racing them on puddles and down drains. my son enjoyed it immensely.
