religion versus spirituality. What are your thoughs on this?

Religion is the form. Spirituality is the essence... I like the essence more than the form yet respect the form too... I draw comfort from both in varying degrees... The teachings of various religious traditions influence me as I have imbibed them from the womb. I breathe and am connected to all living things as I have on the spiritual level a link to everything in existance. I feel nurtured and protected. I feel loved and taken care of sometimes when objectively things don't look so good... It is the spirituality that gives this feeling. It is the spirituality that lingers.
