Dealing With Dog Owners

I took my dog to the dog park tonight. He had an absolutely wonderful time, but there was a woman there that got on my nerves.
She spent the whole night criticizing the behavior of all of the other dogs there. She would go on and on about how well behaved her dog was. Yet her dog was running around bullying and provoking the other dogs. Her little dog would bite and nip at the bigger dogs, and when the larger dogs would bat her dog away with their paws, the woman would scold the dog then tell the dog's owner, "You need to teach your dog not to play with his paws!"
How do you deal with people like this? Should you just let it go? As long as the dogs are safely playing and having a good time, is it worth it to start something? Or should you try and confront her? I got the feeling she thought she knew more about dogs than anyone else and wouldn't listen to anything anyone would say about her or her dog's behavior.
Have you come across dog owners like her? How do you deal with them?

Ugh, I hate people like that. DOGS PLAY WITH THEIR PAWS!!! As long as dogs aren't REALLY fighting (and you can tell if they are,) it's healthy for dogs to play and sometimes be a little aggressive. It sounds like this woman doesn't want her dog to get hurt, which is understandable, but she should be letting him play with bigger dogs then. I have a little dog, and some people will try to stop their larger dogs from crushing my little dog, but I DON'T CARE!!! If my dog is in pain or yelping, they I'll help, but he really enjoys playing with the other dogs... What most people don't understand is that dogs play differently than people do. It may seem weird to us that dogs will gnaw on each other's necks, or use their paws. This is how dogs play. Dogs aren't people, and I think this woman needs to learn that! Good luck! I know how annoying people like that can be.

Exactly!!!! And yes, her dog was much smaller than the rest of the dogs there... but there is a large dog play area and a small dog play area. And if she didn't want her dog to get hurt, she should have kept him in the small dog area. But he was beating up on all the other small dogs in the small dog play area and none of the small dogs wanted to play with her dog, so she moved him to the large dog play area.
