Where are you when you write at myLot. Describe your desk, table, etc.

I have a home office. Bedroom turned office. I have a large L shaped desk with a comfy office chair. My computer is on the main portion of the desk with my calendar and in/out box to the left. To the right is my printer, which sets on top of a file cabinet. There is a large lamp to my left with a bulletin board on the wall in front of me. To my right is a window that looks out onto the front lawn. To my back is another window that looks out onto the side lawn. The door to the office is to my left, which leads into a long hallway with the other rooms in my home. My floors are higly polished hardwood. The walls of my office are a muted yellow, which reminds me of the sunshine. Drapes are blackout drapes used to block the heat from the summer sun. They are very close to the same yellow as the walls but usually tied back with violet sheers behind them. Yellow toppers at the top of the window. On my desk the telephone, excedrin bottle, ice water,speakers and a plant. Another large plant sits atop a shelf in the corner, behind the printer. It's really quite nice.........

I have a laptop so the place that I write changes from time to time. When I am at home I usually sit on one of my couches in the living room. The couches are black and matching. I have my feet up on one of my dark grey ottomons. To my left and my right are small surround sound speakers. In front of me, Meet the Robinson's is being projected from our projector that sits on a black and glass media shelf that is behind me. I don't own a desk or a table anymore. One day I will have both again, they just aren't high on my list pf priorities.

Currently sitting on the couch in the family room with the laptop on my lap posting and listening to the news. When I look around I see my dogs and the baby's things through out the room and I can see my backyard through the sliding glass door. Sometimes the computer is on the peninsula in the kitchen you can still post and watch/hear the tv from there too!

well as most of them here, i'm in front of my computer in a bedroom. my desk basically has my whole computer set covering it as it's not a laptop. hehe right now, i have a pencil on it, since my son was doing something with me while i was using the net. i also have a big water bottle since i drink water from time to time while using the computer. on my right, there's a really old sewing machine that i seldom use, in fact, never use now. on top of it is a printer which is covered with a cloth. behind me of course is the bed. on my left is a door where i go out to the rooms and there's also a wardrobe in the room itself. hehehe was feeling bored so this helped me to pass my time much more easily. thanks so much. grins

LOL at a kitchen table??? That's a pretty place to be with your computer. LOL But, each to his own, i guess. Whereas me, i'm sitting here on my couch in front of the TV watching MTV2 while i type here on Mylot. I always sit here at the couch while i'm on mylot. For i own a laptop computer. I sometimes am outside even with it while i'm on mylot. so, actually, when i type on here, it's hard telling where i might be. lol since it's gettiing warmer here in my hometown, i'll be outside alot and with the laptop computer in my hands. I get internet connection through wi-fi, and so, i can take it anywhere i want to while i'm on the go. I may check some of my discussions on mylot at the Walmart, for crying outloud LOL. Neat, HUH?

I have a laptop now, so where I sit to get on the computer, all varies. IN MY ROOM : Either on the bed, beside my fiance with the t.v. in front of, or in the floor facing my fiance. IN THE COMPUTER ROOM: I sit in a chair with an ottoman and either have the laptop on my lap or on the ottoman. My Fiance sits at the computer diagonal with me. IN THE DEN : I sit with my fiance on the couch, closest to the computer room. T.V. in front of me and watching a movie.

I am in my computer room. 2 desks a tv and 2 puters when mine is fixed that is on my desk I have a top self with all nick nacks and pics on it the top has monitor puter printer and papers. have a little table that has the phone on it. and a fan to knock the smoke out for this is smoke room too

I am usually on my laptop either curled up in some comfortable, cozy area of the house, or else on the floor typing while working on my stretches for dance. If I am on my desktop, it is on computer desk (white wash finish), which has nothing else on it except a scanner in the compartment below and a few CD's and boxes of paper, spare ink colors, etc. on top. Pretty utilitarian, nothing overtly special.

When I do mylot Im usually at the corner my room where my computer is set on a desk. I usually am online every morning and before I sleep and when i check my emails i always have another window open for mylot and search on discussion that i can reply to.

Well, I’m here, sitting at my desk with my laptop, inside my private room. The desk is full with books, stationary, two laptops, and I haven’t found a better place inside this house, because my house is small.

I do most of my myLotting at work so, I will do my best to cover what is on my desk but, it is my work desk and there is really too much to list. Today, right in front of me is a list of oral surgeons because I need to have my wisdom teeth pulled and will be going to a consult with a doctor on that list, tomorrow. My cell phone is to the left, the mouse pad and mouse is to my right. A pen and pencil are on the desk in front of me. A calculator, tape dispenser and stapler are to the right. I have a desk organizer to my right, some scent sticks in scent oil somewhat behind that, my PC and my monitor are to the left and in front of me. I have some hand lotion to the left of the PC and to the left of that is one of those paper holder stand things to use for typing from a document without it sitting flat on the desk. My printer is to my left shoulder, to the left of that is the company phone and behind that a ream of paper. To the left of that is the scanner and that is nearly behind me. To the left of that is a file rack for folders. Behind me is a radio that I can also plug my iPod into. Next to that is a 3 hole punch. Next to that is a plant. And in front of that is some samples for my company. To the right of me are a few pictures of my cats, my dog and my hubby. And a mail sorter/organizer thing. On the shelves above me are just a bunch of folders that organize me and some phone books. That is pretty much the gist.

I here at the office right now as I write at mylot. I have piles of coupon bonds on the top desk and on 3 notebooks then 2 ballpens on my front desk. One phone and headset that I use right now in speaking with my client. I use a desktop computer. My bag is in the side an have my mug full of water. Oh, I have two rolls of tissue paper. That's all about it. It is somebody's turn now... hehehe Good Day!

I am sitting on my bed, cross legged with my laptop on my knee. Watching Coronation Street on the TV with my Graphic Design portfolio out on the bed beside me. I also have a messy dressing table with my mobile phone, TV remotes, cosmetics and books along with other stuff.

im siting in my sisters room becouse i dont have it, reason is maybe that im 20 so my parents whant to get rid of my but im still going in school so i doesnt whant to live by myself yet

the only time i can access a computer is when im at work. so right now im in my office, my computer desk also accommodates my cpu and my huge lexmark printer. few phases to my right is my real desk, on top of it are - the telephone, log book, and paper organizer overflowing with papers and documents. to my back is my co-working, also busy infront of her computer. the office is somewhat bare, white walls and light green vinyl tiles, we also have a small sofa here in case we go sleepy and would want to take a nap.

I am now in my work place in a resort on the beach. I't a low season and we don't have many guest around so I have extra time to spend in the computer. My desk is situated in the outdoor lobby where I have the view to the fish pond and in my back, I can hear very clearly the sound of the waves and if I get bored with the pond view I'll just turn my head around and I have the fantastic view of he ocean.. The bird is chirping as the background and the weather these days is just nice, sunny, warm and not too hot... These view makes me relax all the time, even in a stressfull situation...

my desk was a table then in my left was our stairs going down and to my right was my brother's bedroom

me... im doin mylot here in the office... ehehhe! "Model Employee" :) in my left... theres my tumbler, my celphone, a phone and a chocolate drink... and in my right theres my headset... i write in mylot if i have a freetime... God bless!

I have an new workstation set up. It is a new chrome and glass desk. I can see my toes while typing! The chair not always available as my oldest cat finds humor in stealing the spot when I stand up.

Currently I am sitting on my old couch, peering at the tv over the top of my laptop. Having a portable I am all over the house, but I am usually in the living room as it is the least messy. We are currently remodeling our house, so appliances and furniture and everything else that we have purchased is sitting unopened scattered about the whole house. The only usuable place left at the moment is the couch. Someday we will have a nice shiny new house, but for now we have a LARGE number of shiny boxes. Watched a great episode of NCIS earlier while posting here, and am having a great time.
