Hi nanayangel! I always received messages from my friends every time I can do something for them! Even if really, we don't expect it but it's truly wonderful to know that they appreciate it, and it little way help them in their lives! I listen a lot and at the same time when I know that they are wrong, I will always tell them that what they are doing is correct and maybe that's the reason why they always approach me and vent their emotions to me!

Hi there Che!
That's really great. It feels good, right? And I'm sure they have all the reasons to be thankful to have you as their friend.
Thank you very much for your response.

You're welcome! It's very satisfying to know that even in a very simple way, I was able to touch their lives!

Well what a coincidence you started this discussion, for it gives me the opportunity to "thank you", for the best response you gave me, I appreciate it very much!
I hope you and your family are fine, and I wish you the best, and many, many hours of myLottin'!
To me, thanking somebody means a lot, so I go out of my way to do it ! ! !

Like you, I also get out of my way to say thank you to someone who have given me something or helped me in any way.
Thank you very much for your response.

All the time. I think it's common courtesy for people to say thank you and I often do get thanked when I help them out.

Sometimes 'yes', sometimes 'no', but not bothered about it. The mental satisfaction that i get on helping others is more than anything else, isn't it?

Hi there snakequeen!
Yeah, it is the sense of satisfaction that we get for helping others that really matters. What I'm trying to say though is that it feels good to know that your help is appreciated, right?
Thank you very much for your response.

Not always but I don't usually offer my services to be thanked... it, as all things, is situational. I tend, as I assume most others do, to get more thanks in a professional sales environment then I do in human services but the most satisfaction comes form the human side.

Hi there Remembering1996!
That's really great. I believe in Karma and I know that somehow, each act of kindness will find its way back to you.
Thank you very much for your response.

I seem to always be thanked for the things I do for others. I don't do the kindness for the thanks, I do it because usually people that I do kindness for needs the acts of kindness.
The one thing that amazes me is that my timing for doing the kindnesses is usually at a time where the people need a boost. Whether it is something as simple as giving them a few roses from my garden or bagging up a bunch of food for a family that I know is on a tight budget, they always seem to be at that point of needing that little touch of loving kindness. Knowing that I have shown kindness is the best thanks that I can ever get, if the people thank me it is kind of like the cherry on top of the sundae.

Hi there Loverbear!
I think that's great! I agree that we should never expect anything in return when we help, even a thank you but it sure feels nice to know that what you did is appreciated.
Thank you very much for your response.
