How much do u spend on groceries every week ?

My family three week of grocery spends probably above 300 Yuan ,this was the quite few expenditures,did not know that had the help to you?

if i go shopping for groceries, i mainly try to set a budget once a week for food. let's say that i set a budget for the week and i spend $60. well, i would purchase things that were not name brand food. this name brand food is what's breaking ppl up. i do my shopping alot at walmart b/c they've got cheaper foood there, and plus they got their name brand food. so, i try to stretch out my money weekly and spend a certain amount for that week on food. i also try to get things that will last more than one night. it saves on having to go out and buy more food. i get things like that are non-perish food items so that way i will have it when i run out of money for the month and than i can eat the non-perished food last. i don't eat the non-perished food in the begining or the middle of the month. i save it for last.

We spend anywhere between $185 and 250 a week on groceries but I'm trying to cut that back and keep in mind that isnt just for food...it also includes toiletries, laundry/cleaning supplies and pet food etc for 6 pets...

We spend $250 a month and I decide what to spend each week of that from what the sales are. I buy almost everything in bulk and on sale. I never pay full price for anything. I clip coupons each sunday and match them to sales. It is a little bit of work but I save enough to spend money else where. We feed a family of 4 and this includes all items we buy at the store, like cleaning supplys, toilet paper, diapers and things like that. My daugher is potty traineing and them I hope to never have to buy another diaper again. That would be like winning the lottery!

I don't know if I'm average sabeen, because there's just my husband and me. We go to the grocery store every two weeks and I usually spend between $120.00 and $160.00 for two weeks. That ends up being about 60 or 80 dollars a week just for two people, depending on what I choose for the two week menu. Of course I have to say, there's probably around 30 or 40 dollars worth of items that aren't grocery items, like toilet paper, vitamins, a candle and dog and cat food. So I guess what we spend isn't really that much. Then I'm sure, there would be some who would say it is. I try to keep it as low as I can. I make a menu for two weeks and stick pretty much to the menu. I splurge every now and again.
