Would you eat at a restaurant where you have worked ?

Many of us have worked part time at eating joints during our student lives. The question is would you have a meal at the same restaurant with your family after you have stopped working there ? Would you be apple to eat at peace especially if you know of some dirty little secrets in the kitchen ?

When I worked in a restaurant during my college years, me, my mum and step-dad ate there maybe 2-3 times a month. There werent any dirty secrets and if there were I wouldnt let my mum and step-dad eat there, we used to go as it was good food and as an employee I got discount!! My brother also ended up working at the same restaurant.
If I was doing a long shift I would order a meal so that I didnt starve!!
I wouldnt eat there now as it has been bout 5 years since I last went there, though would be nice to pop in again and see who is still there!! If the same staff were there then maybe I would eat there!

Thatsgood.I personally would not eat at the restaurant I worked in as it was a Ramsays kitchen nightmare

I'll still eat there sometimes due of my ex colleagues still working there.. Though there are some dirty secrets that i know also, but i also believe in my teaching to them that, unless the customer is very nasty or has bad attitude problem, if not, all food should be prepared properly and to our best hygiene ^_^ hehe

yes, i've done that before many times too. i use to to work at McDonolds
and i would stop by when i was off work and get a bite to eat if i'm up
there close to them.

Hi...years ago I worked in a small restaurant and the answer to that question for me is yes ...I would and indeed did eat at the place...the standards of cleanliness were good...and when I was working there the bosses were constantly on your back...to clean..clean....but I was young then!!...so I never minded....the money was useful...!!I can truthfully say that I never ever saw anything untoward going on in that kitchen
