LINUX Vs. MICROSOFT

hey friends how many of you linux as your operating system ? i am one of the linux user .in my opinion linux is a complete os to deal with. microsoft only sucks us and give the worst quality software. in last 6 months my windows xp corrupted about 50 to 60 times but my linux is doing brilliant since last two year. people says that linux is for experts , but i am saying there is no need of expertise only thing you need a internet connection thats all. now i do my all work in linux.now there is so many linux distribution in the world you need to know which one best for you . as per me i never recommend red hat to new user its too hard for new user. new user should try debian distro which is freely available. my best choice is ubuntu yopu can have free ubuntu cd from canonical , other distribution like mepis, gentoo, mandriva, pc-linux are also good
please let me know your opinion . linux free for human mean legally free you can do anything with linux

I have Linux in one of the computers we have at home. My boyfriend was the one who installed it, it is pretty cool! The features are great too and it really doesn't eat up a lot of memory on the computer even if all graphical features are enabled on the computer! The computer works great as well. Also, he showed me that I can download stuff using the DOS prompt and linux will usually be the one to find it automatically becuase it has repositories etc.. I still have lot to learn but I like linux!

yes linux is a great OS,,
most users will agree to that if they used both XP and LINUX.,
but since XP is more popular and user-friendly, most user prefer it than LINUX..
but professionals prefer LINUX since it's more secure and the features are better than windows.
do you know that bank's system and many establishment have linux as their OS?

I am also one of the Linux lover but i have some problems.
1)Which linux company is the best
2)WHICH LINUX IS Supports NETWORKING (like TCP/IP, Internet,IRC,Sharing files and more...)
3)Which one best and supports Plug and play devices like (digital camers, Pendrives,other Plug-play devices)
Give me the Information above Questions

I have not used linux much but i must say i do not like microsoft much at all i really hate vista yeah it has some cool tiny features here and there but it just glitchy and came out before it ever should have. and have you ever updated itunes when you are using vista...you should.... it does something odd.... it modifies your registry and causes your cd drive to stop working.... has happened to me TWO TIMES ....by the way if it happens to you make sure you go to www.hatebill.blogspot.com the fix for it is on there.... DO NOT GO BUY A NEW DRIVE but yes i like linux a lot it is much nicer looking but i cant get my mp4 player to work on it..... i have SABAYON and UBUNTU next i might try gentoo.....

Linux my friend linux, i have words for windows but you know most of those applications are devoted for Apple and windows and lesser number of them for windows. Windows gives me a head ache.
