How do you entertain a house guest? Do you h ave a seperate room and bath? Do you set it up for them with fresh flowers, toiletries and linens? Or do they sleep on the floor?

I just now have gotten to this in my email pile...grins... a post of four days ago.
I have a one=bedroom apartment and so my house guest have a choice, the living room.
They may sleep on a couch,
a small mattress like thing that can be slept on, the floor, or their own air mattress.
I do set up the bathroom with their own towels and washcloths and do provide clean sheets and pillow cases.
I usually do not provide flowers but do try to give something to my house guests that they will like.

not as good as you are... even your cats greet people. They seem to know who needs their services and allow themselves to be petted at just the right moment. Thanks for the best response.

I really pamper my guests. I think it's because the culture where my parents grew up in demands them to be really hospitable hence I got so used to that already. I don't go over the top though. I just make sure that they have everything they need. I provide them with linens, blankets, towels, pillows, and of course toiletries. I usually have small soaps for them so that they can take it home with them or easily dispose it after use. I may not have an extra room but I never allow them to sleep in the floor. I usually do the sacrifice for them. I offer my bed and I sleep on the couch.

You were raised very well! I would surely feel welcomed in your home.
I travel and collect the hotel toiletries. Fun to have little soaps, mouthwash and shampoos available.
I need to plan out the room design better. Right now it is an office/bedroom.
