what do you think about the Dalai Lama?

Recently there are lots of debates between Dalai Lama and China gaverment,between the free Tibet people and Chinese, even gave a bad start of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Game. In France,the torch relay faced lots of encumber.Since then, there are scare of chinese appealing to refuse to shopping in Carrefour.So what your opnion on this essue and which side is right?

thank you for your attention,but i don`t agree with you,if what you said is true,why Dalai still keep silence?i mean,if those guys are on his name.Dalai should stand out to against them.i don`t know if you have watch the video that the so-called "free Tibet"people have done in Tibet on March this year,i have seen it.they are all crazy and actually terrorists.If a Nobel Peace Prize winner know this,and even on his name,shouldn`t he do something?

The Dalai Lama never asked his people to do what they did. In fact, he reprimanded them for their actions in Tibet, which goes a long way to prove that he has stuck to his ethics, morals and high values even when if it means talking down the the very people he has struggled to protect all his life. If all political leaders were like him, the world would be a much better place to live in.
