Flowers

As much as I love flowers I prefer them in a pot or just in the garden. Occassionally, I put stem or two in my flower vase which I get from our own plants. Back in Bangkok where I couldn't grow my own flowers I used to buy a bunch of mums from the market which is only 10 baht. Sometimes I get some from the church after the service as they wuold be thrown the next day anyway. I love to see them in my bathroom. I don't expect my boyfriend to give me flowers everyday or every week or on any occassion but a flower in a pot would be very much appreciated.

I love flowers but am not very good at looking after them. I have got 3 bamboo plants, they are growing nicely but I have to remember to check they have plenty of water. My boyfriend has bought me some of those wooden roses which are fabulous, they are in different colours. Although he did buy them out of guilt, thats the only time when I get flowers is when he has done something wrong.

While I think it's a lovely thought to receive flowers, I don't like to receive them myself. You said it all when you said they don't last. I love the flowers in my garden and I plant perennials so they come back every year. My husband will buy me a potted plant if he gets something green for me as a gift. Just thinking, when we get taken out to eat, it's over and done just like that too! but I love that.

i generally love flowers a lot...nothing wrong if u gonna hate flowers...i see flower as a source of happiness..flowers look so beautiful...if i have a chance to see a garden full of flowers it gives a happy feeling,soothens the mind,soul and heart..its so refreshing to see flowers...it depends on how people look at it..some may like it and some may not..even though flowers are short lived,at the time of its life ,flowers prove its purpose of providing a good fragrance...i buy flowers have it in my flower vase,put it as a garland to idols...
