How long was or is your longest relationship with somebody?

Well actually the two current relationships I'm in have been my longest...My bf's been in my life for 11 (going on 12 come summers end) yrs and my husband for 10 (going on 11 this July I think)..Before that I was with my kids dad for almost 8 yrs..

It is 1 year and 7 months.. still going. :) I am still with the relationship with the same man. I am happy about it.

Well my husband is my longest relationship and we are in our 4th year. We met October 17th 2003 got married July 17th 2004 and here we are now married for 3 going on 4 years, have a beautiful 16 month old daughter, and recently bought a house. So yes I am still in my longest relationship and don't plan for it to end - ever.

I've only ever been in one relationship and so far it's been over 4 years.

so far the longest relationship that i had with my 1st ex would be 2 years and 4 months and i'm gonna break it because right now my present bf and i was already 2 years and 1 month. i hope this would be the guy that i would grow old with

Dear Nixxi.....congrats on the 5 years....that is wonderful. It will be 12 years for my husband and I on Aug. 23rd It sure doesn't seem like it though. My husband looks just as good ( if not better ) as when we were first Married. We never use Bad language towards each other and we confront all issues together. ( That's the Secret ) Communication.

My longest relationship was six years. It was with my boyfriend from high school. We dated through high school and two years of college. We were engaged but ended up breaking off the relationship.... thank God! I am married to someone else now. We will have been married for a year on June first and had dated for two years before that. It may not have been my longest relationship as of yet but it sure is the best one. I would hope so considering we are married now! HA HA!

It's not very long, compared to yours. My longest relationship was a little over a year. (A year and a few months.) Me and my current boyfriend are rather quickly approaching that point, and I think despite the fact that our relationship is stressed due to the distance, I can't see us ending the partnership anytime soon.

My present relationship with my significant other is my longest relationship. I have been with my boyfriend now for almost five year now, and we are still counting..=) Me and my significant other have been through a lot of trial already - from gossip to other's acceptance of our relationship - I guess that is the reason why we are so strong, we are always together in times of problems and difficulties. It is so great to be in this kind of stage of relationship - where you know the person already, you know his weakness and strengths, his turf and all.

My longest relationship is currently 6 years and 5 months. We so love each other. But sometimes, I do think that he's not the one for me. Most of the time, I think he is. It is both hard and fun staying on this long relationship. Because of the friendship and security that grew between you and your partner. Being in this long relationship is prone to boredom. it will totally depend on you and your partner. If you really wanna keep the relationship then you should make sacrifices, try new things and spice up your relationship. I think it is a requirement that both you and your partner should have one goal. So that, ultimately you can understand more your partner.

My longest relationship with somebody in my whole life is 8 years and know what? I ended up with him. He is my husband. We will be celebrating our 11th year wedding anniversary this September. He is the first and last relationship I had and same goes with him.

Mine is fairly unimpressive compared to yours, and probably most others. On the first of May I will have been with my boyfriend 7 months, and this is both mine and his longest relationship. Mine before this was 6 months, but his lol was a measily 4 days! I always found taht funny, and he told me on the fifth day that I should feel proud... Anyway we made it over the 6 month mark, which initially I really didn't expect. But things are going better now and I think we'll make it to the whole 12. lol.
