as the other poster said, an eBook is a book in electronic form. They come in many formats and many forms with no set standard as of yet. eBooks are a great way to read books cheap, and they are growing in popularity. Amazon has really moved the format forward with its kindle, though I hate the devise due to its proprietary system, overpriced books, and silly security. A few years ago people began suggesting that eBooks would replace paper books, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

An e-book is basically an electronic book. It's the whole book either on a computer, website, or on an e-book reader. They are becoming more and more popular, especially with the invention of the e-book readers like Kindle.
