The case lot sale was just at our local store and I cant pass up a good deal so I bought 96 cans of Bumble Bee Tuna in water. I like to make tuna sandwhiches but I dont really want to make 96 days of them. I know that you can make tuna casserole but what else can you make using a can of tuna?

You can make chowder with it by cooking some onions and potatoes, then adding tuna, milk, salt and pepper. Or make tuna pot pie, or fried tuna sandwiches. Make regular tuna salad sandwiches, then cut them in half and dip them in beaten egg and fry in a hot skillet. Drain well. But you don't need to eat it all up at the same time, do you? It will keep!

Yes, that's the way I do it. I usually use frozen mixed vegetables and thicken them with corn starch, add the tuna and put it in a crust.

Tuna pot pit sounds good too. Would you just make it up like a chicken pot pie and use the tuna instead?

oh I am so curious as to the price! baked tuna noodle casserole - (we like it with crushed potato chips on top) macaroni salad with tuna Tuna cakes (like crab cakes, I think I saw the recipe at www.kraftfoods.com I will make a chowder, like a clam chowder and put in tuna fish and peas instead of clams. Tuna and cabbage when I was a kid in a Catholic town, our lunchroom would serve tacos made with tuna fish or pizza with tuna fish. They were better than they sound.

It was $.33 a can. Not the best price I have ever found but with prices going up like they have been I figured I might not ever see it this low again. Tuna chowder sounds really good. I dont know why we dont hear about this more often. It seems like it would go really well together. The pizza on the other hand sounds questionable.
