Which one do you like better? GH or Rock Band?
I haven't played Rock Band yet, but Guitar Hero is very fun and addicting. :P

OMG!! We have ALL of the GH's AND Rockband... We haven't picked up any of the GH since we got RB.. I can play the guitar, and by sticking the mic into my cleavage.. I can sing too at the same time. I do pretty well too. It is MORE addicting that GH!! I LOVE it. If you have Xbox360 (we don't) you can buy another drumset or another guitar separately. The only problem is 2 people can't play drums.. unless there are doing a battle. BUT 2 can play guitar at the same time

Man I wish they had one for the Wii. All they've got is GH III for the Wii. :P

I would deffinatly have to say Rock Band. However, the quality of the instruments are quite poor .. Like the guitar is pretty much falling apart, the screws are all weird and what not. I really REALLY like the song selection on Rock Band (even though GH3 is pretty damn good as well). I enjoy singing and playing bass on Rock Band .. And everything else as well but those things the most. I can do hard on vocals for In Bloom - Nirvana :)

Yeah I've heard Rock Band has real instruments! Guitar Hero is just a fake plastic guitar.

I love guitar hero, and I own all three of them. I have to say that Guitar Hero actually makes me feel pretty damn good when I nail a solo or do well on a song. It kinda feels authentic.
However, I had way more fun with rock band. I played with some friends all through New Year's Eve. It's not so Guitar-centric and it is easier to some degree, but it's such a great experience with friends and you feel like you're something bigger.
Guitar Hero III has some great songs, but I personally prefer the track list on Rock Band. The downloadable content is much better as well.
To choose between them, you have to look at yourself and the people around you. Are you more likely to play by yourself? Get guitar hero. Willing to shell out the couple hundred (or split the cost 3 or 4 ways) to play with friends? Go for Rock Band. Either way, it's well worth the money.
