I always do. It fits in the pot better and it makes it easier to eat.

Yes I do break my spaghetti. It does fit better in the pot and it stretches it out to where you can make more meals. It is easier to eat especially for the kids.

I never thought about the making more meals with it. I always break it because that's what my mother did.

I always break spaghetti because I don't have a pot big enough for it otherwise.

I use to, but now I just take my spoon and move around the spaghetti.

I've never eaten spaghetti with a spoon. I know some people use it to help them twirl it but I've never needed to.

well hello again dreamy!, my kids always take turns breaking it for my while it is still in the unopened bag. it sure makes it easier to cook. there are always a few that get away from us and they are quickly crunched by the audience. i have a line that a drew on the kitchen floor that the kids are not allowed to pass so when i cook they are not under my feet!

I used to break up the spaghetti when the kids were little. Then I just switched away from spaghetti and to another form of pasta like curly pasta or rigatoni. Everyone preferred that and it worked out well. Now that the kids are older, I'm back to spaghetti again, which is my personal favorite anyway. I don't break it up anymore. But you know what, they cut it up on their plates most of the time anyway.

I never thought of using another kind of pasta for spaghetti sauce except for spaghetti.

Yes before but when I found out that spaghetti here in our country is HARAM I eat spaghetti only when theirs restaurant serves HALAL foods or dishes. Yes you were right its easier to eat and you are not forced to eat all that is outside your mouth swinging like a red tie lol.

I don't break my noodles. I used to break them up, but now that I use a bigger pot to cook my noodles I do not break them anymore. I just let them get a little bit soft and then I stir them around until they are all in the boiling water.

I always break mine. I never learned to twirl it on a fork without dripping all over the place. It was just MESSY! You'd think I'm a neat freak, but I'm not. LOL
