do you look at people's profiles before you respond to posts?

and if you do, does it factor into what kind of response you give? for example, if the person is young or elderly, are you more likely to tone down the response you give? personally, i respond to the discussion as i see fit. sometimes i check people's profiles after i've responded, but not always.

I am like you, I respond to the discussion, and then depending on what the topic is, I may check their profile, and see whats going on there. Like this discussion has peaked my interest so I will check your profile when I finish here. Have a great day!

No, I find that I respond to topic based upon how I feel and what I think. Not based upon what age the person is. In fact, I rarely look at people's profiles. I ony look at them if I run across a few topics by them that I like or if they request me as a friend.

I do not see the profile, while answering a discussion. I simply see the contents of a discussion and if it appeals me and I find myself capbale of replying to it, I go for it. I do not consider who old is the host of the discussion, I just express my views in candid and straight forward, but polite manner. I see the profile, while 'accepting' a request for adding him/her my friend.

No, i didn't check out their profile when i response to their post. I think one of the reason is because i just enjoy in replying but not getting close to every one of the mylot member here...it was not good, but time is a constraint...:(

I seldom do as I like to figure out what the person is like by reading his or her discussion. Why must age especially have anything to do with it? Us older people have done all the same things as the rest of you are now doing and by now we are not too easily shocked by anything. I would rather learn from the discussions myself.

If the post interests me, then I'll check their profiles first before posting. It's just one of the random things I do here, as I am curious to what that person/member is from and/or it's interests as well. Many times, I also seem to be right from what I have on the back of my mind. That the person is from this place, a fellow Filipino like me or that they could be a potential friend for we have similar interests too.

I check people's profiles only when they are too interesting are too rude!! Extremes in fact. Sometimes if a find a person responding very rudely to everybody's posts, I visit their profile to find out more about them before I give them a bit of my mind. I read posts more often than I actually respond, so, if one of these extremes come to my attention, then yes, I look at their profiles. There are some rare instances when a person's avatar has induced my curiosity to look at their profile. Cute or curious avatar's too induce me to look into profiles.

I hardly ever check peoples profiles. Most the time the only time I do is if they are telling me about a site and it is on there profile or asking about making money and I need to see what country they are in, in order for me to suggest some sites to them.

No, I wont look at profiles before posting.I just see the importance and my like to discussions and post. Have fun and enjoy rather than seeing the discussion owner. this is my theory into this. cheers

No,I don't usually look at the people's profile before answering a discussion they have started. I only go and see the person's profile if we have some thing which can be known by seeing the person's profile I always respond to both young and old people alike. But,I most probably always see the person's profile before adding them as friend. Cheers! Have a great day Happy mylotting and happy earnings.

Well, if I am checking my friends discussion, I usually open their profile so I read it at time but mostly, when I just hit the discussion then I just respond then sometimes I look but sometimes I don't.

The only time I look at a profile is if they talk about where they are from in the discussion but does not mention where that place is.
