MacDonald nearly killed Letterman ?

I know this is old news. Talkshow host was hospitalized big time due to a heart attack few years back. I remember he used to talk of eating MacDonald lots of time on his show. When he came back from the hospital, i think he mentioned that his condition is due to too much MacDonald. Did I heard right or can somebody correct me here.

How is it McDonald's fault that Letterman suffered a heart attack. He did it to himself not the other way around. People cannot blame fastfood or this or that for their misfortunes it is what they put into their bodies and what they do that is the cause of heart attacks. He just fed on it. If he didn't want to suffer a heart attack he shouldn't of ate fast food everyday. Shame on Letterman for blaming McDonalds.

Thanks for the respond. The part that he mentioned it in his talkshow is what i "think" i heard. I may have heard it wrongly. If not then Macdonald could have sued Letterman. Or i could be sued both by Letterman and Macdonald for having said so. Lol !
Yes you are right the heart is with the beholder. So eat whats right for it.

McDonalds didn't almost kill Letterman, Letterman almost killed himself, if he suffered a heart attack because he ate too many hamburgers. McDonalds didn't force that food down his throat, he ate it himself. People need to take responsibility for their own actions, and quit trying to blame other for their own mistakes.
