I know that monosodium Glutamate is a food enhancer. It's make food taste good as you want to eat more. It's not good for the health of any body if you take so much of it you will soon got a problem in your health so beware of it. Chinese restaurant always use it you that there food will taste good. You can use sugar as substitute for it. I stop using it for years now because I learn that it will not do good for our health. If you really a good cook you will not need this to make your food taste good and delicious.

Why would anyone cook with that junk? Many, many people have monosodium glutamate allergies or just reactions from it. I can eat a small bit, but too much and I get really sick. We only ea in restaurants that do not use monosodium glutamate.
There have been studies that have shown that monosodium glutamate can harm thehuman nervous system. SO why eat it?

I get a headache if I eat too much of something with MSG in it. It is a flavor enhancer and it makes you crave more of the food it is in. When I first learned that, I could tell you what foods had MSG in them without even looking at the label. It was all the foods I can't stop eating. When I make 'Stove Top Stuffing' I cannot stop eating it. It has MSG in it. When I make a chicken dish using a can of Cream of Chicken Soup, I keep going back for more and more of it. The soup has MSG in it. Almost all Potato Chips have it.
Check your labels. Look closely. I notice alot of times they have the word Monosodium listed on one line and Glutamate on the next line and it's not easy to see.
