hello, friends, are you an independent person? I've heard westerners are quite independent. The little children even get payment from delivering newspapers. For em, the first time I earned money was at the age of 12 by selling balloons. So, how did you do it? Or, how did your children do that? Thank you.

The first time I received my pay was during my 18 years old, while waiting for my high-school result for application into college. I worked as accounts clerk in a construction company for 3 months and left for college then.

ya, I worked as a tutor in that summer, too. And with what I earned I helped to pay 1/3 of the education fees. Spending the money made by oneself is so pleasant. Thanks for posting.

The very first time that I earned a paycheck, was working with my stepdad on the construction tracks. I was 10 years old then. I am 32 now. It worked out really well. The boss would pay me 5 dollars an hour to pick up all the trash thruout the whole site. I averaged about 20 hour a week. I enjoyed it, and also it got me into that trade at an early age. When ii was 14 I was building homes with the rest of them. Making a decent wage for my after school activities. I had gotten up to 14 an hour then. It was a good start for me.

I guess it was babysitting when I was 12 or so. I don't remember exactly...

I was 13 and I basically helped deliver messeges and papers for my apartment complex. I also helped with picking up trash and setting up events like our ice cream social or the bbq party that we have. It was a small apartment complex. Everyone knew each other and I asked the manager if I could help so she asked me to get her coffee and a bagel and that's how it started. I got paid $20 a week and an extra $10 for the events. I didn't really see it as a job. It was more fun to me. I was out the house, making my own money, I'd talk to people. I just naturally enjoy working.

The first time I earned money was at the age of 12 and by chance then. I was pick out to take part in a sports game held by the Provincial Sports Bureau and I would be trained for some time for the game by Municipal Sports Bureau. During the course of training, i've given fees for dessert everyday. That's so amazing and unexpected. I was very excited about that since my family is still poor then:)
