Hillary Rodham Clinton, the Senator. She is now campaigning around states to pave the way for Democrat nominee. She is not alone along the way; she gets companion who also tries to secure his Democrat ticket: he is Barack Obama. The two get close attention not only from fellow-Americans, but also from political analysts worldwide. No wonder if the two contenders are closely followed by people outside the USA. What they say, what they do, and what they promise, become the daily menus for newsdesk around the world. The only issue that make them unsure about Hillary is: Will America accept woman president? Although all citizens are guaranteed under Constitution, but yet in implementation flora, there are still many restrictions for certain elements to take part furtherly in political-manuvres. Notion 'Ladies first', I think, cant be implemented beyond its purposed meaning, and this is not for presidential job.

hello, jannisspaggiari
I am so glad to read your point. I hope, in this context, you are not alone. It is time now for all americans to put aside gender issue, and more focus on serious matters, such as domestic issue, foreign issue, and many more.

I think she does run into the gender issue about equally as Obama runs into the race issue and McCain the age issue. I do however see her by far as 3rd in the current race as she is still behind half a million in popular vote and about 150+ pledged delegates after Pennsylvania with not many states (and not many delegates) left to go. She's a long shot to upset Obama let alone trying to beat McCain after severely fracturing the Democratic base.
In 2 weeks we'll know a lot more as they clash in North Carolina and Indiana, the last 2 biggest states left. She needs to win big to have a chance.

Today Hillary Clinton made a strong remark. If she was elected as president, she will invade Iran. This remark is the strongest one that is ever made during the premary season. But nevertheless, Hillary's remark remind us all that war is still the main issue that could unify Americans from all walk of life. Does she expect full support for this remark? I think, she does. If gender issue is no more popular theme, so is race issue, then Hillary has started a new strategy to improve her rating. I myself actually was impressed when Hillary ever said that she did not support Iraq war that was imposed by President George W Buch; she even told to media that her main concern was to stop Iraq war. In this aspect, I think Hillary is not consistent to her stance especially about Mideast crises. Back to her remark about Iran, Hillar now is trying to play a new card that is expected to pave the way to unify americans.
