Is There Any Reason Why You are Sticking with Your Credit Card?

Why are you sticking with this particular credit card that you have? Why don't you change to another one? What are the advantages your credit card offer to you? I keep using mine and don't switch to anything else because it has a point system and I could collect points and redeem supermarket coupons afterwards. I think it's the most attraction for me because it's practical (everyone needs to go to supermarket!).

First, I don't like using cash very much. As it's not so clean. Besides, it can be lost due to any reasons, such as stealing etc. If I use credit card, at least I don't have to pay for the bills right away. I can pay for it next month. Besides, the bank will give me some gifts according to the amount.

I used to have several credit cards. Got to be a bit overwhelming. I'm still trying to pay them all off! Sheesh!
However, I did keep one, which only has a $300 limit and a high interest rate. I only use it for emergencies (car breaks down out of the blue, emergency trip to E.R., emergency vet visit, etc.) I never accept the offer to increase my limit, and the high interest rate makes me think twice: "Do I *really* need to use this card, or can I afford to pay cash?" I also keep it stored in a jar of water in my freezer, which of course, eventually freezes over. By the time I have to wait for it to thaw out, I've had time to reconsider using it.

Unfortunately (maybe fortunate for me), I don't have credit card right now. I had many before but I cancelled them all as my expenditure was always getting higher and higher compare to the previous month (You know how shopaholic I was) To be safe, I cancelled all after getting married. Right now, I only use cash and my debit mastercard. It is convenience for me as I have an account with the same bank which issued the mastercard.
