I've always wanted to go to an outdoor music festival but I haven't managed it so far. Now I'm married with a child has my opportunity passed? Have you ever been to one? What was it like? What was your family situation when you went? Did you go with your kids, and was it family-friendly? Should I go?

Yes I think that you should go to an outdoor music festival :) I have been to 2! The first one was Live 8 in 2005 and I went with my mom and my cousin and his girlfriend. It was a blast! Soo many good bands played.. It was the one in Canada by the way. The second one was last year in August .. When I went to Warped Tour with a few friends. That was also really good .. I saw about 10 b ands, great day! :)

They sound really good! Must've been really something to be at Live 8. It sounds really nice to be able to go with your family; it's something, I think, that it would be great to share with other people. That's why I'd like to go with my family too. Thanks for your answer.

That sounds great. (Do you say that's the only one you 'remember' going to because there might've been others that you don't remember?! If that's the case then they were probably good too!!) Thanks for your reply.

Yeah I went to Leeds Festival (in England) last year and I've already got tickets for this year's. And also, I just sorted out today that I'm going to Glastonbury too! Though I'll be working while I'm there - for Oxfam :)
No of course your chance hasn't passed. I'm a student, but there are plenty of people there who have families, and some who take them with them! How old is your child? Because at some festivals they do have to be over 12 I think it is, though some are more family friendly. And at some kids get in for free. So it;s definitely worth checking out. It's not just the music that's great - its the whole atmosphere. Good luck with it.

Thanks for your reply. That sounds great. I'd love to go to Glastonbury, I'm sure you'll have a great time working there! It's good to know that there are lots of people there with families. My child is two so mayabe we should wait a few more years. I know she'd love being outside and being able to run around and see all the different people and things going on, but not sure what she'd make of all the loud music... I'd love to experience the atmosphere one day soon, thanks!
