Wow... such an amount for a cockroach? But no thanks. There are many healthy food that available. I have no reason to eat such animal, and leave it pass through my mouth to my stomach... its really awful! omg... better not to eat at all... even the meat in the world only cockroach, i will prefer to be a vegetarian.
I can still get $500 in other way...
How about you?

I wouldn't. Cockroaches have pus in them that is squeezed out when they get squashed. They also carry germs. Perhaps if it was one of those big pet cockroaches that are around I'd eat it then. $500 these days just isn't that much.
If I had to think honestly about this, I would eat the cockroach for $3000 minimum. That would pay off my credit card.

In this case, youre only given $500 and the roack already sterilized. if you want $3000, then you should eat also the person who brought the roach. lol.

I am with you--I definitely could not eat a cockroach. I don't think I could eat one for any amount of money! I would be way too grossed out. I have a really hard time bringing myself even to kill a cockroach cause I hate to step on them, so I definitely wouldn't be able to eat one. I would rather go without the money! lol

I would eat a cockroach for $500. I would probably do it for less. I would just close my eye and pretend it were something else I was eating. $500 is a lot of money and money my family could use so I would definitly bite into a cockroach for it. Call me gross but money wins.

yes why not?it's easy to get $500,just to stand for a while.after all,$500 is not a small amount,though it's a awful thing.i'll have a try.
what's more,i don't think it's much harmful to our health.just imagine that we eat bad food and will be better after a few days.

Very few people can eat it, but I'm on the majority that can not even think to eat it. If you have the stomach then do it, it's a talent and a gift that you can use for your benefit. just be careful and focus.

$500?? il eat 2 if some one would give me a thousand bucks. Do you know what kind of money that is. First thing, i wont die even if i eat one. Maybe ill puke later on. Ill have the taste in the back of my throat for a whole day. Thats temporary. The next morning it will be gone and you will be thinking of how worthy it has been. Cause you have 500 bucks, and a cockroach about to leave off your rear end. :P

I could still remember the incident when I was a little girl. Once the three siblings of us had suffered from flu and the medicines prescribed by the doctor didn’t work at all. So my mom then prepared a traditional soup which was believed to be quite effective for the chronic flu. The ingredients of it were the baby leaves of bamboo, a couple of silver coins and some cockroaches which were found from the soil. These insects were a bit different from the ordinary household species. This was found to be really effective for the illness. Since I had the experience of taking cockroach before, so I believe I would have the courage to take the challenge.

i see a lot of people on tv eat this insects on a dare. i'm not sure if my stomach (or my mouth) can take it. it's just gross... there's a lot of ways to get $500 extra other than that. =)
