Real instruments (guitars, percussion, bass, keyboard, and yes...even flutes for you Jethro Tull-sters out there), not synthesizers. Ok, a little synth thrown in could be good, i.e. Pink Floyd, but NOT OVERDONE! Could be a hard driving beat or a laid back melody, but you can usually understand the words! Oh, one real boost for clasic rock is the Hammond Organ with the lesley speakers. Now THAT rocks!
