Can we do away with putting capital letters at the start of a sentence ?

because these days most people have to do typing on the keyboard. For those traditionally trained it is Ok but for common internet buffs like myLotters it is very difficult to type and do lot of corrections afterwards. What do you think ?

i don't use caps when casually texting and chatting. even as a blog entry, i'll seldom use 'em, but in cases of official business or work related on line activities i would revert to tradition. it's expected. so there are still a bit of ethics and protocol to follow in cyberspace. use your best judgement.

We could do away with it, but it would cut into earnings. MyLot looks at things like spelling and grammar when calculating the earnings of its members, so if you do stop capitalizing the first letter of the first word of a sentence, it would hurt you a little in your earnings. But its completely up to each individual to do so.

On the one hand I could say that all the earnings are estimated until payout is actually made, so maybe they don't check all of this until then. On the other hand I heard this through some scuttlebutt around MyLot, so this may not be true after all. *Sigh* Like I said before, its all up to the individual. They won't ban you from using the site if you don't spell correctly or use proper grammar.

No! Haha, thanks for the oportunity to defend tradition. You must have a "caps lock" button, use that instead but you never know when your going to write for a living and getting out of doing the right thing may snap back at you.
