value of prayer

a man who was known to be an active prayer tank for years was asked by his 17 year old son what is the value of prayers?this question arise when the man asked the son to join him in his prayer lifestyle......Inmy opinion,prayer does more than just asking for things but it brings out our spirituality,bringing us into contact with our maker does anyone know any other value of prayer?

In my Opinion..prayer changes things..It uplifts my faith in God.All things is possible in our prayer..

yes prayer does more than just give answers it also helps us build our inner strenght so we can face every challnges in life,it has no substitute

For me, there is a lot of value in Prayer. It helps up develop a stronger relationship in god. It also helps give us a chance to know God is there to help us, and answer some of our prayers when we learn to listen and trust him. Sometimes we as people tend to rush God, and want to do things our own way. But when we learn to trust in God and wait on him everything gets better, and eventually in time we learn everything is going to be alright.

yes you are very right prayer gives ur lives deeper meaning in God and also helps draw nearer to HIm.i also agree that we do rush God sometimes cos we are always in a hurry,but a man who trusts in him is never in a hurry

i love that word,peace,it is the symbol of God Himself,he is peace and what do you expect when we go into His presence in prayer with faith that he will do what we want as longa sit is within his will,
