I dont get any thoughts or thinking or worries during day time.As soon as i put head on pillow my mind begins to run nonstop.I dont have any worries like just like that everyday something gets in to my mind i will try to stop & go to sleep but i couldnt stop.It might be for happiness or for sad or if i am excited,or nothing it always comes in my mind at night time i am fed up of it.I badly want to get rid of it.
I always go to bed at 11pm i dont get sleep till 4.30-5am. I cant divert it at all.Sometimes i feel jealous of my husband he goes to sleep as soon as he puts his head on pillow.
again 6.30am i have to get up prepare breakfast for my hubby. Then i will go to sleep in day time which i dont like to do.I also controlled sleeping in day time so that i can sleep at night but still it didnt work.
Have you also faced like this?
Is there any ideas to get rid of all thoughts & get early sleep.

ideed,it is a annoying issue happened on you, actually,i have no such kind of disturbance at night when i go to bed.however,i'd like to help you out the sleeping problem.first,i think you should be more relaxed than what you have behaved every day.try to control yourself not to think it too much about the circumstance ,the consequence ,and the cause or something like that,in addition, you'd better make yourself probably be busy all the time to occupy the leisure time ,avoiding the imagination about the hard period time of sleeping, which,i think, will help you decrease the possibility to recall the bitter barrier.
second,if the situation is becoming worse and worse,it is a sensible decision to make to turn to the psychologist ,to get the treatment to the mental disease.

I think what you have is insomnia and I used to have the same problem. Someone has suggested that keeping your eyes half-closed will help you fall asleep. Fully closing your eyes and forcing yourself to sleep will not work but, just keeping it half-closed and not forcing sleep to come will often result in sleep. I have cured my insomnia in that manner.

I have no problem of sleeping at all, stress, sad or happy, I can just sleep easily! LOL, How about reading magazines about your interest that will divert you from thinking of anything! or listening to your favorite music while in bed.It works for me and I am not sure with you, I hope you will be able to find some good ways from other members, since, it's not healthy for you to do that all the time!

Before going to bed, you start reading books of your taste and interest. When you do it regularly, you can easily get rid of your worries and unnecssary thinking, which will you bring a good and undisturbed sleep. If you have belief in GOD, offer your prayer, which will divert your mind to a calm mood for a better sleep.

I think that the reason we start thinking about things when we go to bed is because it is the only time of the day when our mind is clear. During the day we are working, talking to people, out and about, reading, watching TV etc and we do not get time to think about things. I would suggest that you try taking some time in the evening when you can sit in a darkened room and send some time thinking. I would also suggest having a relaxing bedtime routine, warm milk, hot bath etc and then when you get into bed close your eyes and concentrate hard on relaxing the different parts of your body. This will focus your mind and should help you to sleep.

I can tell you that what you have just referred to is as if I have written it myself! I experience exactly the same problem..... It is as if a switch goes off in my head the minute I lay down to sleep and every single thought imaginable starts racing through my mind!
I have tried many things; from playing games on my mobile; to meditation; to having a nap during the day on a weekend; to different bed times..... One of the strangest yet most effective things I do that DOES help for some reason is that I start with the first letter of the alphabet and try to remember a male AND female name of someone I know or have known that starts with that letter. I then picture them in my mind and then move to the next letter. I know it seems odd but I have NEVER reached the end of the alphabet before drifting off to sleep!
Try it! You just never know..... And if you DO try it; please let me know if it worked.

I have a similar problem, not so much worrying and whatnot just... thinking. Tried all kinds of things to actually fall asleep without it taking an hour or longer but as of yet none of those 'relax your body and pretend you're blah blah blah' type things have done anything other than give me something else to think about.
Been going on for years and I'm not about to pay money to buy some medication that'll help me sleep. So I just got used to it. That's about all the advice I can give. .

worries, thoughts...etc are most diabolic to every human beings. till today none can tell that something is achieved by these evil spirits
The best way to get rid of these YOU TRY TO COME BACK TO YOUR CONCIOUSNESS AS SOON AS YOU ARE IN BED ...NEXT...SRART COUNTING from 1000 TO 1 TILL U FALL ASLEEP.REPEAT THIS TILL U FALL ASLEEP.
THINK FROM TODAY I WILL NOT THINK

yes i faced some problemes like yours! the first thing i done was, i went to a doctor and the doctor said whta problem i had. it was called insomnias. Than he said i should buy some pills witch help me to relax and helps me to feel tired and to feel sleepe.
After i started having these pills, i had no more problem going to bed and starting to sleep.Anyway i think the pills ain't the best way because now i sleep bad without them and i am "addicted".well i sleep bad without having these pills before going to bed :(
Hope i helped :)

I stay up very late so it's no problem for me.
If you can't sleep, get some meds or use the extra time on myLot. :D

For most people that have a lot of worries and can't sleep the one thing that you need to do is let go of the worries. You have to sleep and what good will you be if the problems are still there when you wake up the next morning. It's a thing of guilt. You feel like you have to solve the problem and if you don't then its still there. DOn't feel guilty because you want to sleep. Just sleep. Many problems have been solved because you have been asleep. It's surprising just what you sub-conscience will work on for you when you least expect it to.

As much as possible, I try to not think the worries I have for that day when going to bed because I know that I will not be able to sleep. I listen to music for few minutes or read books then pray and hopefully I will fall asleep though I have experienced not being able to get to sleep the whole night for 2days straight since I kept thinking of our problems and some projects that I need to complete...
Best way is for you to relax yourself and try to not think of bad things when you go to sleep. It works for me.

I have had similar problems, but usually I will go to sleep just fine, but halfway through the night my eyes will pop open,my brain turns on and I can't get back to sleep. I have a booklight when this happens and reading for awhile helps me to stop thinking of what woke me up and I can get back to sleep. Meanwhile, my husband is sound asleep next to me without a care in the world. Just doesn't seem fair, does it?

When I meet such problem,I will close my eye and count sheep. Then I will put other things in my mind away. Usually when I count a hundred sheep, I will fall asleep.
Remember, you can't sleep in your day time or it will be difficult for you to sleep at night. If you are really tired, you could have a nap. But the nap time must less than 15 minutes.
