If you could choose to visit any one place in the world, where would you go?

I would choose to go to England. I have wanted to visit there for years, but have never gotten the chance. Have you been there? If you have, which city did you see, and what is it like?

Amazon. Thats one place I really wanna be in. I'd love to explore the forests and the various Flora and Fauna of the Habitats and try to understand their interaction with the nature. It would be awesome to live on a tree, live off wild berries and stuff anf have fresh water from a stream. I'm completely sick oft he in city pollution and heat caused due to it and will surely go out and live in some jungle if I can manage it. bourne

If things were a bit different in the world, a bit safer, I would go to Egypt! I would love to see the pyramids, sphinx, temples. The museum at Cairo, I think, would be wonderful! They have so many artifacts there that I would love to see up close and in person. Unfortunately, I don't think it will be safe enough to travel there, from America at least, for a while. My next choice would be Greece, mainly for the food, though also for the architecture. Every brochure, every picture I see online, just makes Greece look so gorgeous! And, I'm sure it is! Plus, as I said, the food. Yum! I love gyros and baklava. But, again, with the world in it's current state, I don't see being safe enough to travel there any time soon either as much of an option. Then again, I don't have the money to travel anywhere really, so I guess it doesn't matter. LOL. If I had to choose one place right now though, one place that if I had the money to go to, I would jump on a plane at this very moment to go visit. I guess it would have to be Scotland. My father went there one year, the choir he was a member of was singing in Scotland, Ireland, and England. My cousin was also born there. They both brought pictures back, taken at two different times, and by people with two different interests. Whether I was looking at a towering cathedral, or a barbecue in the back of someone's yard, it was just gorgeous.

If I knew I could be safe, I'd like to go to see the ancient sites in the Holy Land or Iraq. But even going to Greece can have dangerous moments, and I'd love to go to Crete. But if I could only go to one place, I guess it'd be New Zealand, because I really don't think I would ever get back there and I'd love to see it.

I wanted to visit United states and bought lots of books there. (I still miss some of books in my collection) Not to mention, usually they give big discount, not like here.

That is so funny that you said you would choose England. I have always wanted to go to England and my sister just got back on a trip that she won to England. When she told me she was going, I was so jealous! I told her that I have always wanted to go there. Then she got home and called me and said, "Why do you want to go to England? What do you want to do or see there?" I really didn't know, I just have always wanted to go there. She said it was boring for her. Lots of galleries and architechure, but really nothing fun to do. Guess that changed my mind about England. I would love to go to the Cayman Islands. I love beaches and resorts.

I spent two weeks in England (one night in Wales) last year and absolutely fell in love with it. We started in London, pretty much did circle around England, and saw a lot historical places. And the people were SO nice. I know there's still so much more to see and I can't wait to go back, whenever that may be. My top places right now are Ireland, Scotland, Sweden, and I would love to go back to France. That's more than one place but it's hard to narrow down! I'm definitely planning on Sweden next year.

If I could visit for a year. Wow, good question. I think I visit home. I want to stay home fora year and not have to worry about bills, or work. I hate my job and being able to stay home a year without working for a year is my dream vacation. Nothing is more comfortable than being able to sleep in your own bed and couch. I have everything I need in my house and that's all I need.

I would go to Puerto Rico and/or Hawaii. I have stayed in the same hotel in Puerto Rico twice, a year apart. It was called ESJ Towers in San Juan, PR. It was a really awesome hotel. And I knew someone that worked there. The weather down there was really wonderful. There was a beautiful beach and ocean. My father enjoyed it, too. He did not mind getting me down there. I did just one dive down there. Another place I would love to think about is Hawaii. I would stay at a hotel on Oahu, in Honolulu. I would check out Pearl Harbor. And I would take a cruise to a SCUBA site in Hawaii and do a dive down there.
