Gabapentin is one of the top multi-use drugs on the market today. My doctor wanted to put me in it in addition to Effexor. So I began researching side effects and uses. Gabapentin can be used for anything from nerve pain to a mood stabilizer with minimal side effects. When it is used as an anti-inflammatory it usually takes higher doses for it to be effective.
