How do you change the text tone on the Blackberry pearl?

To change your text tone you have to go into your settings and go into your sound/ringer options. It is the same with every phone. To tell you exactly how to change ringers and your tones go to your blackberry manuel. That is why they put them in with your phones when you purchase them.

Dear Sahmat, You could either change it using the settings or go to the profiles and change the ringers there for the profiles. Infact it is the method for most of the latest models not just for Blackberry Pearl.
