Do you or anyone you know ever do any of these things?

I am smiling when i read this post gemini since I am like this and my husband is the one who acts like you!I do know, I just find my mouth opening and talking instead of doing something to find it out! but, when I will irritate my husband, I find it cute so sometimes, I will just do it also with intention! I have to say that I am glad you got that off your chest - now you can go give hubby a big cuddle without being annoyed with him! lol My eldest son does all of these 2 so we have tried doing it back to him just to see how he reacts but it doesn't seem to bother him - I just hope he grows out of this! xxxx

Nope....I don't do that sorry. ha ha It is all in it or not at all. Let me explain....If there is someone at the door, I either get up and am like on of my dogs just running to get the door excited that there is just someone there. Or I really don't give a crap and figure that someone else will answer it and come to tell me. If they don't come to tell me...I guess it wasn't that important. The phone...I am either running for it excited that there is just someone calling. Or I am avoiding the phone and debating on if I really even want to answer it because I know it can't be my sister when I know she is doing something or is busy. If it is not her...do I really want to talk to whomever is on the other end? Seriously? ha ha Gifts? Nope...not gonna guess. I am either getting one or not and when I do, I am a little kid and gonna open it now! Don't give me a gift if I can't open it. That is no fun. And if I truly am not allowed to open it...I am not going to torture myself by shaking, listening or molesting the package. It can just sit there until I can tear it open then. ha ha It kinda make me think of the ostrich. If the big bird is truly insterested....it will pop its head out of the hole in the ground. Otherwise...it will just wait it out until all the commotion is gone. ha ha That is me...the ostrich. LOL

I do that with gifts. I like prolonging the pleasantness of receiving a gift. I remove wrapping paper very carefully, making sure I don't tear it. Half of the fun is not knowing what it is. What can I say, I am weird...I drive everyone crazy

I have never done any of those things but this discussion did remind me of something my mother used to do that drove me nutsl She would be on the phone talkingto a friend and her part of the concersation always went like this Oh my You dont say and did she really or what on earth, how did that happen, or are you sure. I would be listening and wantingto scream what did she say, or what was it she did,or what happened tell me or what is she sure about? It used to make me want to scream because I never would find out what was going on.

Guilty as charged...i think its because it adds a little someting extra Rose..by putting off the issue!!...im a shaker..and a feeler ..I love to have a good poke before i open that present!....and nine times out of ten im right about the contents!!lolol..but thats only because the contents are a wee bit predictable!!...the postman only ever bring junk mail..so he holds no fascination for me....he keeps bringing coach trip brochures at the moment...which makes me feel like running him over with his very own post trolley!!...the door and telephone a a completely different issue....neither of us ever want to answer the phone...i always hope im in the kitchen if it rings!!..and as for the door...well we just sit and look at each other...until someone caves in.Then its usually someone peddling their wares!!!

Guilty apart from the Mail I do say I wonder who that is when the door goes and my Son and Daughter always used to say well if you answer the Door Mum you might find out (yeah funny) If the Phone goes I would say who is this and they used to also say Mum answer it and maybe they will tell you who they are And at Christmas my Kids say 'I thought only Kids do that rattle the box to find out what it is I would say it is easier to open it Mum and then you will see' and they would shake their Heads at me Well it is fun to shake it first and try and guess well I think it is anyway

I don;t do it but I do not see anything to feel guilty about, part of the fun is trying to guess what the present is before you get it and then seeing if you are right or wrong. lol.

Its the same when I log onto my boyfriends email account, if he has any email I'll tell him got x amount of emails and he'll reply 'who are they from?' and Im like I dont know yet Ive not gone into your inbox yet!! Also when someone texts and you cant be bothered to read it at teat time it will be 'who's texting you?' and i'm like I dont know as Ive not read it yet!! Obviously we're meant to be able to predict who comes to the door, sends us mail, emails and texts us!! lol

Well call me crazy but sometimes I just automatically know who is at my gate when they are calling out "Good Morning or Good evening or even Good Night" just by the sound of their voice and I just say to myself or sometimes to my dad... "I wonder what they want at this hour of the day." I mean hey, they are right out there, so I could just go find out right? I love to also do this with pavkages. One of my friends from the UK sent me a wonderful birthday present once and I already knew what it was because he had one and I liked it so much I was like "Oh oh, I want one for my birthday." Lo and behold he got it for me! But not surprising...we are like best friends and always send each other stuff for birthdays and Christmas time. Anyway, when I got the package I was so excited and was thinking to myself...ooooh I wonder how it'll look on me, when I could just open it and find out. I sometimes even do this with snacks I've never tried or food or things I cook and bake. I wonder how it'll taste when I can just dig in hehehe. I bet I do it with man other things too

I know i say i wonder what this is or who its from when its not something i'm expecting. I like surprises though and I'll let myself wonder a bit before i open it. My dad drives me nuts because he always knows whats in a present before he opens it. Sometimes its tempting to find something ridiculous and swap it for the real gift just to see what he guesses.

Oh you know what, you make me smile while reading this discussion because I KNOW SOMEONE... that is definitely my friend's boyfriend! When we were in college, if he received a text message, he would say.. "I wonder who is it" then he will look at us then ask "do you know who it is?" lolz... Thanks for reminding this to me.. hehehe...

LOL!, I do it when someone rings the doorbell, wonder why we all do it. :p
