How would winning the lottery change your life?

If I won a huge amount of money then obviously my life would change quite radically. I would be able to pay off my debts and bills, maybe buy a new house and a car but I would also make sure that I invested a lot of the money in solid investments to ensure an income. But I would expect to find people suddenly wanting to be my friends, the parasites would crawl out of the woodwork as soon as they knew I had money. I would have to be very wary of people for a while and would probably rely on my close friends and family for support.

I would not quit my job, but I would take an extended vacation and travel. I would buy a house in Vegas as well as Minnesota and put the rest of the money away in the bank while continuing to work. I would be very careful of new people coming into the picture.

Seeing as I have plenty of things I'd like to do if I won the lottery, about the only change it would really make in my life is that I would be assured that everyone in my family was in a better position. I'd pay off the debt we have and buy us a house, and then pay off my mom's house and buy my fiance's mom a house, and finally set aside money for my niece and nephew for college funds. But other than that, I'd pretty much go on with my life as normal. :)
