I'm Watching The First Episode On Youtube!

I am at a college which has hi-speed Internet, which means I can watch the past episodes of Eastenders! I get to see Lou Beale, Ethel and all those other people I've only heard about. It is so cool seeing the beginning of the series finally! Who was that guy at the very beginning that everyone thought was dead? Is he a revelant character of the series? Or is he just a character that helped the series get started with a story line?

Are you talking about Dennis, Sharon's dad and Angie's husband? He was around for a while and had an affair with Michelle (Sharon's best friend) and eventually got pregnant by him. It's been so long since I saw the original shows .. I am sure the scripts or write ups or at the very least the original cast is posted somewhere.
