I remember this one time when I played sick in high school. I actually was feeling a bit sick in the morning but got better later in the afternoon, but it made me feel like going home anyway. so I told the teacher I was sick, and he gave permission because I wasn't those kind of kids who often play sick. When he gave me permission I got too excited that I was able to go home early, I didn't realize I walked out of that class cheerfully (too cheerful for a person who claimed to be sick) so I got the "look of dismay" but he let me go anyway

Hummm, too many times to count. I am thinking of doing it tomorrow. Thanks for the idea :)

Only when I was a teenager and had to come live with my dad and step-mother.
I just didn't want to go to school anymore, I was unhappy and depressed all the time.
I think I really was sick in the head back then, looking back on those days it's a wonder I didn't do something foolish.

You were not sick in the head. You were young and your instead of your maother trying to be your mother she shipped you off to a stranger that should never have been on the same planet as a child much less have them actually live in his house. You were scared, depressed, and trying to survive. YOU WERE NOT SICK IN THE HEAD!

I faked sick a lot when I was younger. I did it a lot in fourth grade, but that's when a lot of problems began in my life. Then, in middle school, I hated school. I didn't fit in, I had a lot of things going on in my head that drove me crazy so I faked sick. When I got into highschool, things began to level out a bit so I really stopped faking sick and actually went to school.

Being that I work in a doctor's office, family practice no less, I can't call in sick. There would be no excuse for me not to come in and be seen by my own boss. I've pretty much always have been sick for real. Which is not very often.
I am exposed to everything at work, which helps build up my immunity. I always get the required immunizations and flu vaccines every year.
I've gone to work not feeling so well too. I take my job very seriously and I know the doctor I work for, depends on me. It's almost like we are not allowed to get sick.

I did not really play sick, just a bit more sick than I really was. the reason was forest-day. I hated those. We had to walk in the woods the entire day. fast. A bus drove us to nowhere and we had to get ourselves home again. Horrid stuff. It always rained on forest-day as well. Yuck!

I faked sick allllll the time in middle and high school. I hated going to school. I played hooky quite a bit too, especially for gym class, lol.

I could hardly remember how many times I've done that in the past just to get out of school or work.. but I think it's been plenty too.. lol...
When I didn't feel like going to school maybe because we had an activity at home or wanted to go somewhere else, I usually played sick..
But when I started working I couldn't use that alibi anymore because we need to submit a medical certificate to validate our reason of absence.. So, I usually availed my vacation leaves instead.
