Has anyone ever received the wrong item on Ebay?

A couple of weeks ago I won an auction at ebay for a movie my best friend wants. I figured good birthday present. Well it arrived today, when I opened the box inside was, a bunch of dinosaur toys. I was upset and immediately gave my feedback, negative due to receiving the wrong product. I would like my movie, but I do NOT want to be the one to pay to return the product seeing as its the wrong thing. Should I be the one to pay to return it or is that on the seller?

No I have never gotten the wrong item or items. I bet that was a shocker when you opened it and found the toys. I would think that the person you bought the movie from would have to pay the return postage. Did you write them and find out if they still have the movie?

I heard back from her that she sent the wrong package and my movie is on the way. She asked if I could return the package or forward it on for her. I'm going to mark it return to sender and get it back to her that way, and it won't cost me a sent.
