I say leave the National Parks alone. By doing that , Park Rangers will still have a job, so will the artists, scientists and other people who use the parks for income. If we work on inventing vehicles that operate on other fuels, that will give jobs to scientists, engineers, and eventually auto plant workers.

Please go see the movie "An Inconvenient Truth". It is al Gore and his years of research on gobal warming. He is not acting as a politican but has really done alot of homework on this and the information is also on the goverment site. You will not allow this to happen to the National Parks.

I think there are still a lot of other places where oil is available that we can use before we get to the oil under the national parks. I mean, we have a lot of oil rigs that are capped off in this country both inland and offshore. I don't really like offshore oil drilling, either and definitely should wait before using those, too.
The United States has more oil reserves than any other country in the world from what I understand. I don't understand why we don't use more of our domestic oil. I guess we want to use up everyone else's oil before we use our own.

I don tthink that is a good idea. We need to find alternative ways to find fuel, Drilling in the national parks is not going to provide a solution. It will jsut damage the environment.
